TUITION INFORMATION – 2009-2010

Tuition for Classical Ballet and Jazz lessons at ADA is paid once every quarter.  Each quarter is approximately 9 classes.  The quarterly fee is based on the total number of classes per week.  As the number of classes per week increases, the overall class rate decreases.  Each class is guaranteed to meet a minimum of 36 times during the school year.  Should any class meet less than 36 times due to bad weather, etc. make up classes will be scheduled.  Payment is made to Academy of Dance Arts.

45 minute and 1 hour long classes

1 ¼ hour classes and longer

Classes per week       Quarterly

                                                1 class                         $150

                                                2 classes                      $250

                                                3 classes                      $300

                                                4 classes                      $350

Missed Classes - Any missed class may be made up in a similar level within 1 month of the missed class.

No refunds or reductions are made for missed classes.

The Academy of Dance Arts’ Ballet program runs similar to the school year.  We observe the same holidays as Charleston County Public Schools for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break.  We do not close for teacher work days or any other holidays.

MEMBERSHIP DUES FOR QUALIFYING COMPANY MEMBERS

2009-2010

Annual dues is required which can be paid at time of registration or broken down to ten equal monthly payments as follows:

Apprentices (Ballet A) - $25 per month

Junior & Senior Members (Ballet B & C) - $50 per month

Annual dues are payable regardless of how many times (hours) company members meet for class and or rehearsal.  Season is based on 10 months starting in August 2009 and ending in May 2010.  Payment is made to Mt. Pleasant Performing Arts Company or MPPAC
