Company Larisa Dahabi
Ø Company members must take two ballet classes per week. Tuesday classes with Ms. Larisa are designed for Apprentices & Junior/Senior
Company members only. There may be times when class time will be used
for rehearsals and times may be altered as needed.
Ø Tentatively two ballets will be performed (Nutcracker
in December & another ballet in the spring). Anyone other than company members
invited to be in the ballets will be required to pay a performance fee for each ballet.
Ø There will not be an end of the year recital. Non company students will have the opportunity to showcase their talents in a parent observation day. Notice will be given in advance.
Ø Schedule is subject to change.
Ø Pre Pointe & Pointe will depend on level and readiness
of student at the instructors recommendation.
Ø There is a mandatory uniform for all of Ms. Larisa’s
classes except Adult Ballet Colors TBA

MEMBERSHIP DUES FOR QUALIFYING COMPANY MEMBERS 2009-2010
Annual dues is required which can
be paid at time of registration or broken down to ten equal monthly payments as follows:
Apprentices (Ballet A) - $25 per month
Junior & Senior Members (Ballet B & C) - $50 per
month
Annual dues are payable regardless of how many times (hours) company members meet for
class and or rehearsal. Season is based on 10 months starting in August 2009
and ending in May 2010. Payment is made to Mt.
Pleasant Performing Arts Company or MPPAC

Tuition
for Classical Ballet and Jazz lessons at ADA is paid once
every quarter. Each quarter is approximately 9 classes. The quarterly fee is based on the total number of classes per week.
As the number of classes per week increases, the overall class rate decreases.
Each class is guaranteed to meet a minimum of 36 times during the school year.
Should any class meet less than 36 times due to bad weather, etc. make up classes will be scheduled. Payment is made to Academy of Dance Arts.

Missed Classes - Any missed class may be made up in a similar level within 1 month
of the missed class.

The
Academy of Dance Arts’
Ballet program runs similar to the school year. We observe the same holidays
as Charleston County Public Schools for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. We do not close for teacher work days or any other holidays.
