Ø Company members must take at least two ballet classes per week, but we strongly recommend three or more for junior and senior levels. Thursday classes with Ms. Larisa are designed for Company members.

Ø Tentatively two ballets will be performed (Nutcracker in December & another ballet in the spring). Anyone other than company members invited to be in the ballets will be required to pay a performance fee for each ballet.

Ø Schedule is subject to change.

Ø Pre Pointe & Pointe will depend on level and readiness of student at the instructors recommendation.

MEMBERSHIP DUES FOR QUALIFYING COMPANY MEMBERS

2011-2012

Annual dues is required which can be paid at time of registration or broken down to monthly payments as follows:

Apprentices - $40 per month

Junior & Senior Members - $60 per month

Annual dues are payable regardless of how many times (hours) company members meet for class and or rehearsal. Payment is made to Mt. Pleasant Performing Arts Company or MPPAC

ACADEMY OF DANCE ARTS - TUITION INFORMATION

2011-2012 (Subject to change)

Tuition at ADA is paid once every quarter. Each quarter is 9 weeks. The quarterly fee is based on the total number of classes per week. As the number of classes per week increases, the overall class rate decreases. Each class is guaranteed to meet a minimum of 36 times during the school year. Should any class meet less than 36 times due to bad weather, etc. make up classes will be scheduled. Payment is made to Academy of Dance Arts.

2 classes $180 for 9 weeks

3 classes $250 for 9 weeks

1 ¼ hour classes and longer

1 class $150 for 9 weeks

2 classes $250 for 9 weeks

3 classes $330 for 9 weeks

4 classes $450 for 9 weeks

Please inquire for more than 4 class per week

Missed Classes - Any missed class may be made up in a similar level within 1 month of the missed class.

No refunds or reductions are made for missed classes.

The Academy of Dance Arts’ Ballet program runs similar to the school year. We observe the same holidays as Charleston County Public Schools for Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Break. We do not close for teacher work days or any other holidays.
